Classical languages

The Pontifical Lateran University organizes classical language courses (Latin and Greek) for its students and external students. For those who are not already enrolled in an academic program at a Faculty, it is necessary to register as a guest student at the CLAS Coordination.

For those who are already enrolled as ordinary or extraordinary students at the University, the courses must be included, where not already present, in their study plan with the consent of the Dean /Principal if the course is not a prerequisite of their path academic. An exception is made for the students of the Master’s Degree in Law who, if they have not attended high schools that include the study of the Latin language in their curriculum, must register with the CLAS Coordination and follow the intensive course organized in the first semester.

An entrance test is required for all classical language courses.
