CLAS organizes Italian language courses for foreigners, modern (English, French, Spanish and German) and classical (Greek and Latin) language courses, in collaboration with the main foreign language and culture organizations and institutes present in Rome: Dante Alighieri Society for Italian; the British Council for English; the Institut français – Center Saint-Louis for French; the Institute Cervantes for Spanish; the Goethe-Institut for German.
The courses, structured according to the basic skills of the students who are constantly monitored and assisted, provide both the possibility of satisfying the requirements for inclusion in curricular courses, and of placing oneself with greater command and authority in the study of university disciplines, which are always treated more internationally and interdisciplinary.
The courses are open to internal and external students of the Pontifical Lateran University.
