Philosophy – Doctorate

The Doctoral Cycle is three years, taking the form of a Doctoral Research. It leads to the attainment of the highest academic degree (PhD). It consists of a three-year period dedicated to research and the preparation of the Doctoral Thesis, according to a project approved by a special Commission, chaired by the Dean. The Study Plan for the Doctorate must contain a total number of CFUs of no less than 30, attainable through participation in specific Research Seminars of the Doctorate and, possibly, in a certain number of courses and exams to be taken, based on the academic history and to any educational debts of the individual Doctoral student.
